FOB Gold scalable solutions
FIT, a faecal immunological test used for CRC screening, detects small amounts of blood invisible to the naked eye in stool samples by using antibodies specific to human haemoglobin. FIT does not require any diet restrictions and only takes a single sample collection procedure. The FIT test’s specificity for haemoglobin and ease of use make it analytically and clinically superior to other faecal occult blood tests (FOBT).
The FIT-based screening test is non-invasive, easy to perform and reliable, and manages to attract high participation rates – the main driver behind the success of any screening programme.
Generally, national or regional governmental administrations assume responsibility for implementing the population-based and organised screening programmes, managing their logistics, financials and efficiency in close cooperation with selected partners, such as the laboratories that provide the FIT test results.

You can place the FOB Gold pierce tube on the stand-alone faecal analyser SENTiFIT 270 or, for high-throughput needs, on a total laboratory automation (TLA) solution offering walk-away operation.
The FOB Gold open tube can be placed on the majority of clinical chemistry analysers existing in routine labs, offering you maximum flexibility.
