Know more about your patient's immune response status

A combination of novel diagnostic inflammation parameters are readily availbable from a routine laboratory test, together with the complete blood count. The parameters quantify and characterise the activation status of white blood cell subpopulations, such as:

  • Immature granulocytes (IG)
  • Activated neutrophiles (NEUT-RI, NEUT GI)
  • Activated lymphocytes (RE-LYMP, AS-LYMP)

These diagnostic inflammation parameters provide additional information about the activation of the immune response and help clinicians monitor inflammatory conditions in details.

Experience the use of immature platelets

 What ist the immature platelet count, IPF#?

  • The absolute count of immature platelets (IPF#), determined from a patient's pheripheral blood sample and independently from the total platelet count (PLT).
  • Immature or reticulated platelets are newly released from bone marrow, containing a high amount of RNA that is measured by a specific fluorescence method.
  • The platelet analogue of reticulocytes in red cell population.
  • Compared to the immature platelet fraction (IPF), the immature platelet count (IPF#) is barely affected by platelet transfusions.
